Falcon 7X Flash site
A proven, reliable powerplant with the latest technological advances
Three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A engines will power the new Falcon 7X. The PW307A will be flat rated at takeoff to 6,402 lb thrust each at ISA+17°C SLS takeoff each, to achieve new levels of performance and efficiency.
The engine has a design basis derived from the PW300 series engines already in rigorous use on airliners and other business jets. The PW300 engine family has accumulated more than 1.3 million flight hours, demonstrating an outstanding record for reliability and durability.
The PW307A engines for the Falcon 7X will provide a new standard in cabin comfort for low noise and vibration due to product refinements. New fan technology provides a very low external noise signature, one that will meet stringent noise standards anticipated for the next two decades. The PW307A is also a low-emissions engine, significantly better than the FAA/EPA and ICAO standards.
When the Falcon 7X enters service, its PW307A engines will not need overhaul for 7,200 flying hours or more than 14 years of typical operation.
